May 13 , 2005: Superior National Forest visitor reminder. The Forest Service has provided a spring reminder to visitors regarding off-highway vehicles (OHV's), camping opportunities, and fishing regulations.

February 2, 2005: Wilderness Campaign Launched
Efforts to bring wilderness protection to nearly 90,000 acres of federal land in Minnesota are being undertaken by a cooperative group of wilderness advocates.

February 1, 2005: Permits can now be reserved at www.BWCAW.org. You must enter the BWCAW at the entry point and on the entry date shown on your permit and may not re-enter on a different date using the same permit. A $12.00 non-refundable reservation fee is
required for each permit reserved.
